# Violence and Sexual offences reach a three year high in Bristol

In **March 2026** there were **2,069** reports of "Violence and Sexual offences" crimes in Bristol. This is the highest number since I started collecting this data in June 2023.

This category of crime consistently has the highest number of reports.

There have been **60,059** "Violence and Sexual offences" reported since Jul 2023.

Only **7.27%** of investigations resulted in action being taken.

These are the March 2026 numbers for each Ward, ordered by "Population per Crime".

For example in March 2026 there was **one report** of a "Violence or sexual offence" **for every 100.3 people** in "Hartcliffe and Withywood".
